DAY-WISE ITINERARY
Commence at 08:00 AM from hotel. Visit Jallianwala Bagh — the solemn memorial of the 1919 massacre. Then visit Harmandir Sahib (Golden Temple) — experience the langar, kirtan, and sacred Sarovar. Explore Hall Bazaar for Amritsari juttis and Phulkari embroidery. Post lunch, drive to Wagah Border (28 km) by 04:30 PM for the Beating Retreat ceremony — a patriotic spectacle with soldiers from India and Pakistan performing precise drill at sunset. Return to Amritsar/airport by 07:30 PM.

October to March. Baisakhi (April 13–14) is the most vibrant time — Golden Temple celebrations are extraordinary. Avoid peak summer (May–June) above 42°C.
