Itinerary
DAY-WISE ITINERARY
Depart Delhi at 07:00 AM. Arrive Agra (~3.5 hours via Yamuna Expressway). Check in and freshen up. Afternoon visit Agra Fort — Mughal palaces, audience halls, mosques where Shah Jahan spent his last years imprisoned by his son Aurangzeb. Continue to Mehtab Bagh across the Yamuna for the finest sunset view of the Taj Mahal. Dinner at hotel or recommended restaurant. Overnight at hotel.
Rise early; arrive Taj Mahal East Gate by 06:00 AM. Marvel at the first light touching the white marble — an ethereal glow changing from pink to gold to brilliant white. After 2 hours, visit Itmad-ud-Daulah (Baby Taj) and a marble inlay demonstration workshop. Late breakfast at hotel; checkout by 12:00 Noon. Depart for Delhi arriving ~04:00 PM.

BEST TIME TO VISIT

October to March is ideal. Winter mornings produce misty, magical Taj Mahal sunrises. Avoid May–June extreme heat. The Taj Mahotsav cultural festival (February) is a wonderful bonus.
