A supplement applies on the above rates for travel between 15 December 2025 and 15 January 2026:

Sri Lanka Visa (ETA) for Indian Passport Holders

Indian passport holders travel to Sri Lanka on an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA), applied for online before departure. Our team checks and files your application as part of the booking.

  • ETA is normally issued within 24–72 hours

Booking & Payment Policy

1. Booking Confirmation

An advance of 25% of the total tour cost is required to confirm your booking. On receipt of the advance:

  • Your tour reservation is confirmed
  • Hotel and land arrangements are blocked as per the itinerary
  • Visa / entry permit documentation assistance begins

The advance becomes non-refundable once hotels are confirmed and the visa process has been initiated.

2. Balance Payment
Instalment 1 — 40%

Due within 15 days of booking confirmation.

Instalment 2 — 35%

Final payment, at least 15 days before departure.

3. Important Notes
  • All payments must be completed before travel documents are released
  • Hotel vouchers, transport confirmations and final documents are issued only after full payment
  • Delayed payments may lead to cancellation of reservations or extra charges per supplier policies
  • Rates are per person in US Dollars and are payable in Indian Rupees at the prevailing exchange rate on the date of payment.
4. Cancellation
  • More than 30 days before arrival — advance retained
  • 15–30 days before arrival — 50% of tour cost
  • Less than 15 days / no-show — 100% of tour cost

Peak-season and festive-period bookings may carry stricter supplier cancellation terms, which will be confirmed in writing at the time of booking.

Indian nationals need an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA), applied for online before departure. We check and file your application as part of the booking.

The ETA is usually approved within 24 to 72 hours. We recommend applying at least two weeks before travel to be safe.

No. The ETA government fee is charged separately at actuals. We will confirm the current fee when you book.

Colombo is roughly a 1 hour flight from Chennai, about 3.5 hours from Delhi and around 2.5 hours from Mumbai, making it an easy short-haul holiday.

No. All rates are EX-India land packages. We can book your flights separately at competitive fares on request.

The local currency is the Sri Lankan Rupee (LKR). Indian Rupees are not widely accepted, so carry US Dollars to exchange locally, or use a forex card.

Yes. A supplement applies for travel between 15 December 2025 and 15 January 2026, and compulsory gala supplements apply on 24, 25 and 31 December.

International roaming works but is expensive. A local tourist SIM or eSIM is inexpensive and easily bought at Colombo airport on arrival.

Light cottons for the coast, a light jacket for Nuwara Eliya which is cool, modest clothing covering shoulders and knees for temples, and comfortable walking shoes.

Yes. Shoes and hats must be removed at Buddhist and Hindu temples, and shoulders and knees should be covered.

Yes. A jeep safari can be added to most itineraries at extra cost. Tell us at the time of booking and we will quote it.

One suitcase and one cabin bag per person is comfortable. Let us know in advance for larger groups so we can allocate a bigger vehicle.
